Tools for this Unit:

Standards

This curriculum unit will use the academic standards for History that illustrate what students should know and be able to do in U. S. History. History standards are built upon sequential events past and present and how people perceive those events. The use of time and place is also essential to apply critical thinking.

The Student will be able to (TSWBAT) discover and evaluate the impact groups of people had on United States history from late 18th century to present day. This includes documents, artifacts, and historical sites that are important to the era. Continuity and change has an impact on the United States and TSWBAT determine how this influence has had on the United States and its citizens. Utilizing specific writing methods, TSWBAT give details and facts pertaining to all aspects of U. S. History.
