Kitchen Brigade: Leadership Roles And Responsibilities

"Leadership is the catalyst that transforms scientific inquiry, responsibility, collaboration, and service into confident, independent learners."

Focus Overview

The culinary laboratory is organized using the Kitchen Brigade system, an instructional leadership model adapted from Auguste Escoffier's brigade de cuisine, the organizational structure developed for professional culinary kitchens.[19] Throughout this curriculum, students rotate through leadership roles that promote collaboration, scientific inquiry, workplace readiness, and independent living skills while supporting safe and efficient laboratory investigations.
