Hi, I had not heard of the SOAPstone approach until now. I will be teaching Julius Caesar as an introduction to rhetoric in my Critical Thinking (English 103) course this term. I think the approach will simplify the mystique of Shakespeare, especially because we are dealing with a very condensed time period (two weeks) to tackle the play. Thanks!
