Unit Overview

This unit will utilize different types of lenses to observe in-depth, in a scientific manner, while also applying the principles, elements of art, and components of photography to capture the art within nature. Students will employ various techniques to apply what they have learned. They will also use different media to experiment with, to broaden their artistry. Also, students will document the process(es), because the process is more valuable to learning than the product. This method combines art and science. Adding details, layers, and value to their understanding. This will encourage them to have more buy-in for the lessons and make them intrinsically confident.
